Pet Hotel

We are seeking reliable and energetic Casual Animal Caregivers to join our team at the airport. Successful applicants must be available to start shifts as early as 7am, work weekends and throughout the upcoming school holiday period.

Caring for boarding and daycare pets is a key aspect of this role – feeding, grooming, and enrichment activities are all part of the job.

• Frequent cleaning and upkeep of facilities to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety
• Health checks and general animal husbandry
• Supervising dogs and managing their behaviours to maintain overall wellbeing and safety
• Providing exercise and enrichment to pets
• Providing friendly service to pet owners at drop-off and pick-up

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently, with a positive and professional attitude.

• Animal lovers who are available throughout the holidays and weekends, with the ability to pick up additional shifts at short notice to cover unplanned absences from time to time
• Physically fit and comfortable working indoors and outdoors with pets of all sizes
• Previous experience in animal care or pet retail is highly desirable but not essential
• Qualifications in Animal Studies or Companion Animal Services (or currently studying) are also highly regarded
• Own transport is essential due to limited public transport availability during operating hours
