Senior Educator Role

This is a dynamic and engaging opportunity for an experienced educator to lead a team of dedicated professionals in delivering exceptional educational programs. As a Senior Educator, you will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of children.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, as well as a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent). They will also have experience in supervising teams and leading professional development initiatives.

In this role, you will work closely with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and inclusivity of all children in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of educators in delivering high-quality educational programs
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure they are equipped to meet the needs of children
  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to develop and implement teaching strategies
  • Ensure the safety and inclusivity of all children in your care

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current QLD Blue Card
