The Role
We are currently seeking a permanent Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join our dynamic team at a 99-bed hospital facility.
You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, daily clinical supervision, and management of Emergency Department (ED) Services. As part of a dedicated team of emergency specialists, you will deliver excellence in clinical care to every patient, every time. You will promote seamless continuity of care between inpatient and outpatient services, making the most of your skills and expertise.

This regional hospital is a comprehensive healthcare provider, offering a range of services including acute medical and surgical care, obstetrics, paediatrics, and diagnostic and allied health services. Our busy ED, Level 3 Close Observation Unit, mental health unit, and renal dialysis unit ensure a diverse and challenging work environment.

Essential Criteria
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist (Emergency Medicine) and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Emergency Medicine at the role delineation of the service.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research, and quality improvement.
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and respond on site within a reasonable time.

- Attractive Base Salary: $220,000 - $280,000 per annum, depending on experience.
