At the forefront of cybersecurity, our organization seeks a skilled Security Engineer EDR to bolster our defense against emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps and Defender technologies to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain deployed technologies within client environments through regular upkeep and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with the SOC team to enhance security monitoring and response capabilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive solutions to drive project success
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for internal processes
- Stay abreast of evolving threat landscapes and update skills accordingly
- Minimum 2-4+ years experience in a Microsoft engineering or related role, focusing on core security technologies
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender and CrowdStrike Falcon
- Proficiency in SIEM, EDR and other security tools and technologies
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, methodologies and best practices
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (SC-200, MS-500, AZ-500)
- Experience working in a Security Operations Centre is highly desirable
