Job Title: Dental Assistant and Receptionist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a challenging role as a Dental/Orthodontic Assistant and Receptionist. This is a full-time position with compressed 10-hour shifts over 4 days, requiring a dual role split evenly between assisting the orthodontist during patient exams and procedures, and performing reception duties such as booking appointments and processing payments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the orthodontist during patient exams and procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilize orthodontic equipment and instruments.
  • Take patient records (e.g., photos and intra-oral scanning).
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care.
  • Provide excellent patient care and comfort.

Reception Duties:

  • Book appointments for new and existing patients.
  • Process payments.
  • Able to multi-task in a busy environment.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a dental or orthodontic clinic is essential.
  • Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our orthodontic team and interact effectively with patients.
  • Detail-oriented and shows strong attention to detail.
