Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conservation Leader to join our team at the Queensland Government. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the conservation efforts in the Great Sandy Marine Park.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the conservation efforts in the Great Sandy Marine Park
• Develop and implement conservation plans and strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Traditional Owners and other government departments
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of conservation principles and practices
• Experience in leading and managing teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Hold an unrestricted manual driver's licence
