Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Power System Engineer to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. As a senior member of the team, you will lead technical initiatives and mentor team members. Contribute to strategic planning and operational priorities. Provide expert advice on system security and network performance. Collaborate with internal teams to establish network limits and contingency plans.

Requirements

For this role, we require :

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in an engineering-related role or 7 years in an operational role within the electricity industry.
  • Proven technical leadership and ability to influence and mentor others.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive improvements and change.
  • Demonstrated capability in asset rating maintenance and interpreting stakeholder requirements.
  • Experience in leading change management processes and contributing to operational and technical planning.
  • Proficiency in EMS, PSS / E, and other specialist analysis tools such as PSCAD, Power Factory, PLEXOS, and Matlab.
