This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned employment lawyer to take on senior responsibilities and lead the development of best practices in employment law within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Manage legal responses and representation in employment law forums, providing expert advice on key matters.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to employment law, ensuring compliance with relevant instruments.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and HR to ensure effective workplace practices and minimize legal risks.
- Lead communication on employment law changes and their implications across the business.
- 8-10+ years' experience as an Employment Lawyer with FWC and regulatory experience.
- A Bachelor of Laws and an Unrestricted Practising Certificate.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply the Fair Work Act and related instruments.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience advising senior stakeholders on complex workplace matters.
- A proactive, self-driven approach and comfort working autonomously.
