Job Title: Associate Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our National Civil Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering defence projects with support from our technical specialists.

This is a varied role that includes:

  • Design management, project management and coordination of multidisciplinary defence civil projects;
  • Developing a culture of outstanding delivery within the team;
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to young team members;
  • Business development activities including identifying opportunities and securing projects with clients and industry partners;
  • Participation in the transport leadership group to help define and shape our strategy to respond to market needs;

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in general civil projects and experience working in a consulting environment. You will also need to have a particular focus on the Australian Defence sector and be able to link with stakeholders at all levels.

You'll be a qualified Professional Engineer (CPEng) or Engineering Technologist with Engineers Australia (or equivalent Professional Society). A values-driven person who enjoys sharing the successes of colleagues and delivering excellence for clients is ideal for this position.
