Mill Production Operator

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to fill the role of Mill Production Operator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Inventory reconciliation and reporting
  • Stocktaking as required
  • Operating a raw material receival computerised production line
  • Ensuring that the plant and equipment meet specified standards and are in safe working condition at all times
  • Completing all raw material testing requirements as per Ridley receivals testing procedures
  • Accurate S4 allocation and premix addition with reconciliation
  • Performing any other responsibilities as designated by the Site Manager or Delegate
  • Identifying and reporting non-conformances as per Ridley process
  • Unloading transport vehicles, including finished feed, raw materials, premix, and additives, as per Ridley receival standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Understanding of site HACCP Plan
  • Understanding of site safety policies and procedures
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S and environmental policies and legislation
  • Sound computing skills
  • 2+ years manufacturing experience (desirable)
