Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the workshop and ensuring the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing workshop operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocation
  • Supervise and support a team of automotive technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
  • Liaise with customers, managing expectations and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and policies
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new team members
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong understanding of workshop operations and management.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent technical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders
