We are seeking an experienced Chief Security Strategist to join our team in Australia.
About the RoleThis is a critical position that requires a high level of expertise in security testing and vulnerability management. As a key member of our Security team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated threat emulation solutions, conducting offensive security testing, and engaging in ongoing vulnerability research.
You will work closely with our development teams to provide security training and conduct outreach sessions to raise awareness and foster a security-conscious culture. Additionally, you will develop comprehensive security guidance documentation, including policies, procedures, and best practices, to serve as a reference for the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and maintaining automated threat emulation solutions
- Conducting offensive security testing and engaging in ongoing vulnerability research
- Providing security training and conducting outreach sessions with internal development teams
- Developing comprehensive security guidance documentation
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 10+ years of experience in delivering cyber security solutions to large enterprises or government customers. You will have proven ability to provide technical and strategic oversight for a high-performing team of security professionals and demonstrated experience creating effective security strategies that balance prevention and detection.
You will also possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Cybersecurity or a related domain. Additionally, you will have worked on large-scale cloud programs to deliver security outcomes and have a broad understanding of the business and its interconnections.
