About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team at Marsh Pty Ltd. As an Underwriter, you will play a critical role in evaluating and managing risk for our clients, ensuring that they receive the best possible insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess insurance risks for clients, making recommendations for coverage and pricing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in underwriting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client service and drive business growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, expanding our client base and revenue streams.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in underwriting commercial insurance, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex risk scenarios and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations, with the ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
