Job Description

As a Global Business Development Manager at EBR, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our accomplishments and help expand our market presence. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a written business development plan
  • Building and maintaining productive relationships with referring parties, including Project Management Company and main contractors
  • Identifying and attending events related to our target industries, where you'll actively 'work the room'
  • Promoting a consistent message in the market about our offerings and values

Performance Measures

Your success as a Global Business Development Manager will be measured by:

  • Regularly reporting to Directors with quantitative measures of your activity and success in building referrer relationships and event activity
  • Demonstrating the completeness and quality of data you maintain in our CRM system
  • Meeting a monthly target contribution margin of generated qualified leads
  • Meeting a monthly target conversion value of leads into business, in conjunction with the sales and account managers
  • Collaborating with the sales, production, and administration teams to achieve customer satisfaction, profit generation, and long-term business goals in line with our vision and values

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A good command of English
  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience
  • Selling technology solutions into financial clients would be an advantage but not critical
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, including formal and informal presentations, listening ability, and effective escalation of issues
  • Excellent self-organisational skills
  • Self-motivation, discipline, and ability to work under deadline pressure
  • Able to explain complex solutions in layperson's terms
