The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning hospital wards, patient rooms and outside areas. You will work as part of a team and be expected to use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively. Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are also important.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning of hospital wards, patient rooms and outside areas
  • Work as part of team
  • Safe use of cleaning chemicals and cleaning tools
  • Assist with other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar environment (desirable)
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and ability to work independently and unsupervised as required
  • Experience operating cleaning equipment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and adherence to, all applicable policies relating to Workplace Health and Safety, Manual Handling Practices and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

We offer: Part-time hours: 20-40 per week, Shift work: 8 hour shifts, Overtime pay and Penalty rates. COVID-19 considerations: Covid Booster Required. Ability to commute/relocate: Malabar, NSW 2036 - Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.
