The National Museum of Australia is seeking an experienced Collection Systems Administrator to join its team in the Collection Engagement Business Unit. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and use of the Digital Asset Management System (DAMS) and the collection management system.
In this position, you will work closely with the Collection Systems Coordinator and the Collection Systems Support Officer to ensure that both systems are running smoothly and that users are well-supported.
Key duties include:
- Ensuring data integrity by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within the DAMS and collection management system.
- Resolving technical issues related to the DAMS and collection management system.
- Developing documentation and user guidelines, as well as providing training and support to users.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large datasets and workflows, with a strong background in database management and administration.
