Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about food, hospitality, and creating memorable dining experiences for our valued guests. Your primary responsibilities will include providing warm and friendly customer service, taking and processing orders accurately, preparing menu items, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, restocking supplies, collaborating with team members, handling cash and card transactions, and assisting with basic food preparation tasks.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring they have an enjoyable dining experience.
  • Take and process orders accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale system.
  • Prepare a variety of menu items, including burritos, tacos, and other specialties, to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the restaurant, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Restock supplies, ingredients, and materials as needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations during peak hours, communicate effectively, and support each other in achieving common goals.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, using our payment systems.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and cooking grains.


Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customer groups.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic food preparation skills and willingness to learn new techniques, recipes, and cooking methods.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of your work.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and move quickly and safely around the restaurant.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification is advantageous but not required.
  • Residence within 10km of Frenchs Forest CBD preferred.
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
