Job Description

Mirvac's success is built on its people. As a facilities management professional, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial assets.

  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of building services across 3 industrial assets.
  • Ensure that assets are utilized in the most cost-effective manner and serviced in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain the highest level of safety and customer service.
Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  1. Taking a leading role in the ownership of your property's operations.
  2. Approving work orders, tax invoices, and contracts within delegated authority.
  3. Delivering operational expenditure budget against forecast.
  4. Compliance with the Mirvac Quality Management System.
  5. Advising the Property Manager and Senior Facility Manager on maintenance and operational issues affecting normal building operation and budget.
  6. Maintaining an up-to-date asset register and preventative maintenance planner.
  7. Monitoring the Building Management Control System.
  8. Physically inspecting all plant and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  9. Participating in Operational Healthcheck Proforma with Divisional Manager, onsite Senior Facility Manager, and Property Manager.
  10. Completing FCR compliance reporting within the correct timeframe.
  11. Ensuring all areas of the property are always presentable.
  12. Responding to information and tenant requests as required.
  13. Attending and contributing to staff meetings to keep Mirvac staff informed of all activities.
  14. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
  15. Being available for on-call duties, working on weekends, and attending to after-hours calls.
