Salary:

The base salary for this role is $100,000 per annum, with an additional 11.5% superannuation contribution. Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum is also available.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a Clinician to join our team in the South Eastern region. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting diverse clients who are at various stages of care and recovery from significant trauma, neglect and disrupted attachment.

You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans guided by the Neurosequential model. Your expertise will focus on creating better outcomes for Children, Young People and Families in the recovery of trauma.

  • This is a full-time or part-time (0.6) fixed-term position until 30 June 2025.
  • Geelong or Warrnambool location, on Wadawurrung and Gunditjmara Country.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking an experienced Clinician who possesses a sound understanding of trauma and its impacts on attachment and developmental milestones for young people.

A Bachelor degree level or higher qualification in a Health or Welfare related field such as Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Family Therapy, Speech Pathology, Art Therapy or related discipline is essential.

Significant experience conducting clinical work with adolescents and a demonstrated ability to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families are required.

An understanding and demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community are also essential.
