We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior / Principal Structural Engineer – Dams to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our Dams group, you will be responsible for leading the design and construction of dams and structural components, as well as providing technical expertise to clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and construction of dams and structural components, including conceptual to detailed design and construction support services.
- Provide technical expertise to clients and stakeholders, including structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways and appurtenant structures.
- Develop and implement project plans, including inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in dam design and construction, with a strong background in structural engineering.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in structural analysis software and experience with dam design and construction.
