**Job Role:** Disability Support Specialist

This role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

As a Disability Support Specialist, you will be working closely with clients to provide personalized care and support that enables them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

You will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility.

You will also support clients to engage in social and recreational activities, access appointments, and navigate their communities.

Additionally, you will work with clients and their families to develop and implement individualized support plans that promote independence and achieve personal goals.

This role requires a caring and compassionate individual who is passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive environment for clients.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent, and current clearances including a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and Police Check.

Previous experience in disability support or a related field is desirable, but not essential.

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to person-centered care and respect for diversity.

This is a casual position with flexible hours to accommodate your availability.

We offer a supportive team environment, training and development opportunities, and a competitive hourly rate of $35.00 - $60.00 per hour.
