**About the Role**

The City of Newcastle is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Climate Change and Sustainability Undergraduate to join its team. As a key member of the Environment and Sustainability Service Unit, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of programs, projects, and initiatives that drive progress towards net zero emissions.

You will have the opportunity to work across economic, social, environmental, and technical aspects, supported by specialist input, collaboration, and internal and external stakeholder engagement. This is an excellent chance to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in climate change and sustainability.

About You

We are looking for someone who is currently studying in Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or equivalent, and is in their penultimate or final year of study. You will have strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
