Job Description

We are seeking an Analytical Field Technician to join our team in Perth, WA. This position is a travelling role with a Fly In, Fly Out schedule rotation.

This technical resource will be responsible for rolling out, running and supporting field-deployable XRF-analysis, hyperspectral and core photography systems. Platforms include Truscan and Minalyzer scanner units and supporting software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and fault find technical issues tied to proprietary analytical equipment
  • Operate and troubleshoot field-deployable electronic equipment and supporting software
  • Conduct scanning activities in the field and workshop
  • Provide logistical support for field scanning operations
  • Evaluate incidents and document according to company standards

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, service, and repairs
  • Collaborate on the creation of SWP's and training documentation
  • Support Product Development teams through testing and reporting activities, and operational rollout
  • Train client field technicians to operate analytical technologies safely and efficiently
  • Comply with EHS Policy and KPIs

Work Environment:

This is a varied roster position that requires regular travel, including short notice.
