Job Title: Hoist Technician/Installer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Hoist Technician/Installer.

This key position requires collaboration with experienced technicians on all aspects of the business, including scheduled preventative maintenance, hoist installations, and major repairs.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to travel interstate for new store fit-outs and large projects, working with our install team or local contractors.

The ideal candidate will possess a range of skills, including mechanical assembly/disassembly, lifting and rigging, hydraulic works, low-voltage electrical, welding and fabrication, general construction, and civil works.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with minimal experience to develop their skills under direct supervision, with opportunities to progress towards running a service or installation team.

  • Exceptional social communication skills
  • Punctual, presentable, and trustworthy
  • Ability to use basic service software on a tablet
  • Current driver's licence, MR, or HR Truck (highly advantageous)
  • High level OHS practices
  • High attention to detail and quality of work
  • Basic mechanical or trade skill (highly advantageous)
  • Service and maintenance experience (highly advantageous)
  • Availability for occasional interstate work
  • Forklift, EWP licence (highly advantageous)
  • Supply of basic mechanical hand tools (not required to start, within 6 months a small tool kit should be slowly developed)
