Leadership Opportunities in Major Construction Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major construction project. This is a unique opportunity for a talented professional to take on a high-profile project, working with a respected client, and have the potential to catapult your career ahead of your peers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing any re-design requirements throughout the construction phase
- Overseeing contract administration, variations, and claims
- Engaging with contractors and consultants
- Managing the technical construction/delivery phase of the project
- Fostering relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports as required
- Managing the staging of construction deliverables, with all impacted stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale construction projects, ideally within a consultancy or contractor
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder skills – skills that'll be used to enable the smooth delivery of a complex piece of work
- Able to understand 'the big picture' of what the client is trying to achieve with their project – the reason for the project is critical to the success of the business
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with stakeholders
- High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset
- Experience with construction phases of complex projects, in sectors such as Industrial, Health, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing/Processing, Data Centres or related areas
- A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients
- Qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or related disciplines
- Ability to travel across metro Melbourne
