About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lineworker to join our team on a Permanent Full Time Basis at our South Metro Depot.
As a Lineworker, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining the transmission and/or distribution electricity network to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable operation of the network.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and maintain the transmission and/or distribution electricity network to maintain the integrity of the network in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner.
- Rectify faults promptly and isolate the network for repairs to maintain the integrity of the network and minimize customer impact.
- Execute programmed construction and maintenance work to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable operation of the network.
- Construct network infrastructure according to design specifications and construction standards.
Requirements
- Certificate III in ESI – Power System Distribution Overhead – essential.
- Valid WA 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
- Valid WA 'HR' Class Drivers Licence – preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity network.
- HOU and LOU Switching is highly regarded but not essential.
- Glove and Barrier is highly regarded but not essential.
