Job Title: Senior Android Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned developer to lead our mobile applications development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications for digital platforms.
  • Ensure technical documentation is thorough and easily accessible.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices in mobile development and share knowledge with the team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to establish engineering standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience developing complex, scalable, and high-performing applications in Kotlin.
  • Strong focus on writing clean, testable, and well-documented code.
  • Knowledge of modern Android technologies, particularly Jetpack Components.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines, Compose, Gradle, and Hilt, with expertise in Arrow, Kotest, Media3, REST, GraphQL, GitLab, Datadog, and Firebase highly valued.
  • Excellent development skills, with proven experience in developing secure, high-performance software for various application platforms and devices.
  • Strong understanding of assessing, selecting, and utilizing modern frameworks and build tools, implementing automated/unit testing, and version control branching, merging, and versioning strategies.
  • Proven experience providing technical leadership within a development team and representing that team in discussions with other areas of the business.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize projects and tasks, delivering results with attention to detail while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
