Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Financial Crime Professional to fill the role of AML/CTF Specialist. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in financial crime regulations, risk mitigation, and customer due diligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating alerts, completing CDD and EDD tasks, and ensuring compliance with AML/CTF regulations in Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (EDD) tasks
- Investigate and clear alerts related to suspicious transactions
- Maintain knowledge of AML/CTF regulations and provide subject matter expertise
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with complex legal structures
- Ensure adherence to team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and department Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in financial crime, preferably in AML/CTF
- Knowledge of AML/CTF regulations and risk mitigation strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet team SLAs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
