Platypus Sales Assistant - Retail Opportunity

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused individual to join our sales team in our Westfield Chermside store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a positive and dynamic store environment.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about streetwear and sneaker culture, with a strong commitment to providing an unforgettable shopping experience. They will be confident in their ability to work well within a fast-paced and energetic team environment, meeting and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop within the business. They will also have a passion for premium product and a desire to deliver outstanding customer service.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work amongst premium products, collaborate with fellow team members, and progress within the business. You will also have access to ongoing training and support, enabling you to achieve your career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in store with premium product
  • Work as part of a team to achieve sales and KPI targets
  • Process large volumes of stock
  • Pick and pack click and dispatch orders
  • Assist in maintaining the in-store operations including housekeeping, VM & cleaning required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous retail experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Passion for streetwear and sneaker culture
  • Ability to work well within a fast-paced and energetic team environment
  • Self-motivated and willing to meet/exceed sales targets & KPIs
  • Ability to listen and use feedback constructively
