Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Professional to join our team. This exciting role will see you working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of environmental performance and compliance.

The successful candidate will have expertise in environmental regulations, auditing, permitting, and reporting. You will be responsible for supporting the growth of the business through environmental due diligence reviews and permitting support. Additionally, you will play a key role in regional environmental programs by integrating with engineering, construction, and operations teams to drive an environmentally responsible culture within the organization.

As part of this dynamic team, you will work on challenging projects that require strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interface with senior leaders. You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement practical improvements to enhance environmental performance.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering/science, geology, geography, biology, chemistry or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in environmental compliance, auditing, permitting/reporting, waste management, EMS, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Broad knowledge of Australian environmental regulations and licensing requirements; strong project management skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with senior leaders.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growing organization.
