About the Role

As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with development teams to create a secure development environment and enhance the security posture of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the security posture of our applications
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years' experience in application security, with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in securing applications throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Proficiency in secure code review and using tools to identify security weaknesses
  • Familiarity with SAST, SCA, Container Security, IaC Security, API Security, DAST, IAST, RASP
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices, security engineering, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, automation, and application development is valuable
  • Knowledge of security frameworks like OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP), containers, Kubernetes, and proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Go
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and understanding of vendor technologies and industry trends
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics to diverse audiences
