Subsea Project Lead Position

Fugro is the world's leading Geo-data specialist, focused on mapping, modeling, and monitoring data about the earth's surface and the structures built upon it.

Job Requirements:
  • Work collaboratively with project managers and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into project plans to ensure HSE and quality delivery.
Responsibilities:
  1. Lead project work packages, ensuring timely completion and commercial success.
  2. Supervise senior and project engineers in technical development, design review, constructability, HAZID workshops, and offshore execution.
  3. Collaborate with the project manager to improve commercial oversight and outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in subsea/offshore engineering and project delivery.
  • Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical, mechatronic, structural, or ocean engineering, or naval architecture.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project.
  • Working knowledge of specialist software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Full driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain an offshore survival course and pass the associated medical exam.
  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a full, valid work visa.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
