We are looking for an experienced Technical Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements
  • Maintain and improve existing infrastructure systems
  • Provide technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of infrastructure maintenance and updates
  • Implement agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines
  • Use infrastructure management tools to determine load and performance statistics
  • Configure tools and/or create scripts to automate the provisioning, testing, and deployment of new and changed infrastructure
  • Maintain operational procedures and check that they are executed following agreed standards
  • Investigate and enable the resolution of operational issues
  • Provide reports and proposals for improvement to specialists, users, and managers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices
  • Excellent technical skills in areas such as network architecture, server administration, and database management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits:

Location and Working Arrangements:

This role is based in Canberra and requires an onsite working arrangement. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week.

Security Clearance:
