Job Summary:

This role involves assisting in the efficient delivery of baked goods to wholesale customers. As a key team member, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the bakery by supporting the Baker and Pastry Chef with daily tasks.

About the Role:

The Delivery Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and safe deliveries to customers. This includes packing products according to specifications, driving to assigned destinations, and assisting team members with general duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making professional deliveries to customers each morning
  • Packing products to specification and safely driving to assigned destinations
  • Assisting team members with light duties like sorting equipment and cleaning
  • Ensuring excellent food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to
  • General food preparation, cleaning, organising and maintenance of food preparation areas

Requirements:

  • Reliable nature
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Availability to work 5 days a week commencing at 4am

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in delivery driving
