Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Program Officer to support our carbon markets work. This role plays a key part in the development and implementation of ambitious climate policies in Asia through accelerating the transition to net zero emissions, carbon pricing, clean energy, and climate diplomacy.

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver projects supporting the introduction and implementation of emissions trading systems in major Asian economies and other relevant areas of climate and energy policy.
  • Conduct desk research on ETS development in Asia and best practices applicable to specific contexts.
  • Develop high-quality materials for publication and coordinate their dissemination.
  • Support the development and delivery of online and in-person meetings, workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key project stakeholders at Asian and international levels.
  • Support fundraising efforts by developing project concepts and proposals.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, have three years of experience in a government, consulting, research, or NGO environment, and possess demonstrated expertise in GHG emissions trading systems.

This is a full-time position with exempt status. Compensation and job title are determined by location, skills, experience, and organizational equity.
