Senior Legal Advisor - Regulatory Affairs

This role involves advising on and navigating the complex regulatory landscape in which we operate. As a senior legal advisor, your focus will be ensuring compliance with applicable laws, influencing strategic decision-making, and supporting the business in engaging with regulators and other stakeholders.

You will partner with senior executives, shape strategic initiatives, and provide clear, commercially focused legal guidance. Your expertise in competition law and broader regulatory compliance will be key to our success.

The role requires significant post-admission experience, ideally from a top-tier law firm and/or senior in-house legal role. You will have proven expertise in competition law and broader regulatory compliance, as well as experience advising in complex, highly regulated industries.

To succeed in this role, you must think strategically, communicate clearly, and influence decisively. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert legal advice on competition law, consumer law, and other regulatory requirements affecting our operations.
  • Monitoring, interpreting, and advising on legislative and regulatory developments, ensuring the business is informed and prepared.
  • Advising on regulatory engagement strategies, including dealings with relevant authorities.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to support product development, marketing, and commercial initiatives with proactive legal input.
  • Translating complex legal and regulatory concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-legal teams.
  • Managing and briefing external counsel on complex competition and regulatory matters, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
