Hydraulic Services Designer

ACOR Consultants, a leading employee-owned engineering consultancy, is seeking a talented Junior Hydraulic Design Draftsperson to join our Fremantle office. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in hydraulic services drafting, working alongside experienced engineers and professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our team of engineers to acquire in-depth technical knowledge and skills in Autodesk Revit building documentation software.
- Take ownership of your learning and development, delivering high-quality hydraulic services drafting in building engineering, including hydraulic and fire services.
- Produce a wide range of hydraulic services drawings and layouts for projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial.
- Develop skills and knowledge in other building services engineering to become a subject matter expert in BIM, delivering professional engineering services across multiple projects.
- Enrolled, completing, or have completed a relevant TAFE course qualification in residential drafting or a similar course for drafting.
- Possess a solid understanding of general building construction, with previous experience in a plumbing trade being advantageous.
- Be a hardworking, initiative-taking individual with the ability to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced work environment.
- Exhibit strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate high levels of organisational, coordination, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Display initiative, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously.
- Hold Australian Citizenship or be a Permanent Resident.
