At WorkFocus Australia, we are committed to helping people recover from injury and illness. We have a dedicated team of allied health professionals who provide a range of services to prevent and minimise the social, physical, psychological and financial consequences of injury and illness.

We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in [Location].

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering occupational rehabilitation services to our customers, working closely with our team of allied health professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality across customer as per Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements in regard to rates, costs and durations
  • Implement services as per Customer SLAs
  • Coach team members to undertake work in accordance with customer requirements
  • Complete internal and external customer critical case reviews to drive strategy and good rehabilitation on all claims
  • Represent WorkFocus Australia at public forums and on various committees as required

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and relevant professional registration in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Exercise & Sports Science Australia, Australian Society of Orthoptists)
  • Significant occupational rehabilitation industry experience
  • Specialist knowledge and skillset with a solid reputation and profile within the industry
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of occupational rehabilitation services and strategic management of a portfolio
  • Customer service orientation with experience managing customer service agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to independently generate referrals and build portfolio
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience training, coaching and developing others
  • Willingness to travel (car and driver's licence essential)
