Job Description:

This Part-Time position offers the opportunity to shape the early educational experiences of young learners with additional needs, working closely with our Early Childhood Teacher to nurture children's social, emotional, and intellectual growth in an inclusive, play-based environment.

  • Craft and deliver engaging curriculum and activities that promote learning and development
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement
  • Develop strong relationships with children and their families to support their educational journey
  • Collaborate with a team of educators to plan and coordinate lessons and activities
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Evaluate and implement effective safety measures for everyone
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Relevant experience working in a kindergarten or early childhood setting
  • Experience working with children who have additional needs highly advantageous
  • Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
