Property Lawyer Career Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-quality, practical legal content. As a key member of our Practical Guidance team, you will be responsible for researching and preparing up-to-date content on property law topics, including sales and acquisitions, e-conveyancing, property development, commercial and retail leasing, and general property law.

This role requires a strong understanding of Australian property law and a proven ability to communicate complex concepts in plain English. If you have a passion for creating engaging and informative content, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain high-quality, practically-focused content on property law topics.
  • Monitor legal developments and changes in current practice.
  • Support the Senior Legal Writer with managing external author relationships and reviewing externally prepared content for accuracy and suitability.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in or contribute to in-market activities such as masterclasses, webinars, and customer feedback sessions.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years PQE.
  • Australian qualified lawyer.
  • Recent experience in an Australian mid to top tier law firm, in-house counsel or Government role.
  • Background in transactional and advisory work in property law, including sales and acquisitions, e-conveyancing, property development, commercial and retail leasing, and general property law.
  • Excellent communication and plain-English writing skills.
  • Aptitude for building and fostering relationships with a range of diverse clients and local and international stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
