Curriculum Development Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the process of curriculum development and delivery across all year levels. This involves participating in the Curriculum Leadership Team to contribute to curriculum planning and implementation, collaborating with faculty staff to ensure course documentation is complete using online resources, convening and conducting meetings of the Faculty to lead the process of curriculum development and delivery, advising on the preparation of Courses of Study with Faculty members, and endorsing the final products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement curriculum initiatives that promote student learning and achievement.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform curriculum development and improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to communicate curriculum goals and objectives.
- Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to support teacher growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- A teaching qualification with current registration.
- Demonstrated understanding of pastoral care needs of students in a Catholic secondary school setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
