Job Description Summary:

As a wind farm technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbines. You will work closely with the service management team, clients, internal technical teams, and contractors to guarantee that all equipment is functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on wind turbines, including inspections, repairs, and replacements as needed
  • Interpret technical manuals and specifications to complete assigned tasks according to work instructions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
  • Conduct site visits to assess equipment condition and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A minimum of a qualified electrician or a qualified mechanic with electrical aptitude
  • Proficient in fault-finding electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment
  • Trained to an intermediate level in computer skills
  • A positive attitude and the ability to complete physically demanding tasks at heights
  • Ability to travel to alternate wind farms when required by management (
