Job Title: Retail Store Manager


The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales performance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train and supervise a team of retail staff.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration and high morale.
    • Drive sales through effective floor management, merchandising and promotional strategies.
      • Oversee day-to-day store operations including opening and closing procedures.
        • Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
      • Ensure the store layout and product displays are visually appealing and meet brand standards.
    • Monitor and control store expenses and budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
About You:
  • 3–5 years of retail management experience, ideally in fashion (womenswear or apparel).
  • Demonstrated experience in driving sales performance and achieving key performance indicators.
  • Experience managing store operations including rosters, stock control, opening and closing procedures.
  • Experience in clienteling and building repeat customer relationships.
  • Experience leading, training and developing retail teams.
  • Strong knowledge of womenswear fashion trends, styling and product knowledge.
  • Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with brand identity.
  • Complaint handling and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong grasp of retail KPIs (conversion rate, average transaction value, units per transaction etc.).
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, stock management and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising standards (window displays, styling, product presentation).
  • Ability to adapt layouts and styling to maximise sales and reflect seasonal campaigns.
