Job Overview

AWS Infrastructure Services is accountable for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure.

Our team supports all AWS Data Centers, ensuring our customers have continuous access to innovation.

As a member of the Infrastructure Operations (Data Center) team, you will contribute to maintaining the physical infrastructure of AWS, adhering to standards for safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity, efficiency, and cost.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with procedures and legislation.
  • Maintain performance benchmarks, analyze data, and prepare reports on infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Generate Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets as directed.
  • Contribute to documentation related to business and facility operations.
  • Support rack installation and power/cooling provisioning within constraints.
  • Participate in routine maintenance and emergency services on critical systems.
  • Learn about the design, implementation, commissioning, and build-out of new facilities.
  • Assist with facility asset management and inventory control.
  • Participate in construction and operational meetings as needed.
  • Support Work Order compliance and reviewing contractual SLAs.
  • Interface with Infra Ops teams for daily operational needs.
  • Assist in resolving infrastructure engineering or service issues.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline, or relevant technical experience.
  • Experience in Data Center Engineering/Operations.
