Bail Supervision and Support Service Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Justice and Community Safety as a Practice Lead for our Enhanced Bail Supervision and Support (EBSS) service. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of best-practice case management approaches for young people on bail.
The EBSS model is designed to enhance support for complex young people on bail, while also reducing reoffending rates. You will work closely with Youth Justice Case Managers and Case Officers to provide expertise in case management practice and develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- LEADING THE DEVELOPMENT OF BEST-PRACTICE CASE MANAGEMENT APPROACHES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE ON BAIL.
- WORKING CLOSELY WITH YOUTH JUSTICE CASE MANAGERS AND CASE OFFICERS TO PROVIDE EXPERTISE IN CASE MANAGEMENT PRACTICE.
- Maintaining stakeholder relationships by leading the coordination of care teams and managing complex care team practice.
You will have oversight of a small team of Case Officers, who are responsible for providing technical expertise on electronic monitoring and conducting case support work with young people and their families.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services Work, and a full Victorian driver's licence. They will also require a current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) card.
This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity based in Dandenong, with travel across the South East Metro Area.
