Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team at Gawler Health Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to patients in our Midwifery Ward.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the integrated care of patients admitted to the Midwifery Ward, working closely with midwives and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
• Provide antenatal care and assist with deliveries, utilizing your expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology.
• Contribute to the provision of high-standard clinical services to Gawler and surrounding areas, promoting excellence in women's health.
• Participate in Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network committees, driving quality and safety initiatives within the Gawler Health Service.

Requirements

• Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship with the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
• Eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of South Australia.
• Proven skills in problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to patient and relative participation in patient care.
