Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Professional to join our team in a remote work arrangement. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and lodging tax returns for a range of companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.

This role involves working with a variety of tax compliance services, including BAS, IAS, and FBT returns. You will also be required to review and delegate work to junior staff within the team, as well as manage clients directly and handle any queries they may have.

About the Role:

  • Prepare and lodge tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and FBT returns.
  • Review and delegate work to junior staff.
  • Manage clients directly and handle client queries.
  • Work on clients across various industry sectors.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA or CPA qualification, or close to qualifying.
  • Business/Commerce degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3+ years experience in Tax Accounting.
  • Solid tax technical knowledge and accounting skills.
  • High level communication skills and ability to liaise directly with clients.
  • Able to navigate accounting software, including Xero and MYOB.
  • Must have experience in Australian Accounting firm(s).
