Remote Store Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to join our team in remote Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operations of a busy community store, leading a high-performing team, creating a welcoming space for local customers, and ensuring essential goods and services are delivered with care and cultural understanding.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact in a remote Indigenous community. As a Store Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the success of our community store and making a positive difference in the lives of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the community store, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team that provides excellent customer service and achieves business objectives.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for local customers, ensuring their needs are met and they feel valued.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure essential goods and services are delivered with care and cultural understanding.
Requirements:
  • Proven retail or hospitality leadership experience, preferably in a similar remote setting.
  • Strong financial and stock control skills, with the ability to manage budgets and optimize sales.
  • A hands-on, people-first leadership style that motivates and develops team members.
  • Passion for mentoring, community development, and embracing new cultures.
  • Willingness to live and work in a remote location for an extended period.
