Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our gardens and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain lawns, edges and garden beds to a high standard.
- Plant and maintain plants, shrubs and trees.
- Remove litter and debris from gardens and driveways.
- Prune and trim plants and trees to maintain their health and appearance.
- Use equipment such as mowers, trimmers and sprayers to maintain gardens and grounds.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as raking and shovelling.
- Work in a team environment to achieve common goals.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
- Class C Driver's Licence (manual)
- Ability to work under supervision and as a team member.
- A satisfactory National Police Security Check Report.
- Be physically able to perform the duties of the position.
- Be able to perform manual work for long periods outdoors.
Desirable:
- Certificate I or equivalent qualification in horticulture.
- Chainsaw operator certificate (or be willing to obtain).
- Working with Children (Ochre Card) (or be willing to obtain).
- Construction Industry White Card (or be willing to obtain).
