We are currently seeking a Principal Consultant to join our Sydney office. This role offers diverse, interesting, and challenging work with the opportunity to make your mark in a consulting environment.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing our contaminated land management capability
  • Recruiting and training contaminated land management professionals to grow our east coast contaminated land team
  • Undertaking field programs including premobilisation and safety planning
  • Developing standard operating procedures
  • Conducting fieldwork campaigns including soil, groundwater and surface water sampling, supervision of drilling, test pitting, and groundwater well installation
  • Providing high quality analysis and reporting to meet regulatory requirements

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Substantial industry experience in Contaminated Land Management
  • A Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Environment, or Science
  • A strong scientific or engineering background in contaminated land and understanding of scientific and engineering principles
  • CEnv P-Sc accreditation will be favourable
  • Desire to work across various industries and develop and grow our contaminated land business
  • Experience with client relationship management
  • Proven understanding of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 and National Environment Protection Measures and other current and emerging NSW and QLD legislation, standards, and guidelines for contaminated land
